SERDANG: A woman was killed with her own lorry while desperately trying to stop three robbers who had hijacked it.
Poultry trader Rohani Harun, 50, was driving home at about 9.30pm after trading at a night market when she was stopped by three parang-wielding men.
She was dragged out of the lorry and the robbers rammed her with it when she tried to stop them, said Serdang OCPD Supt Abdul Razak Elias.
In doing so, Rohani was dragged several metres and suffered serious head injuries.
She was rushed to the Serdang Hospital but later succumbed to her injuries in the emergency ward.
Supt Abdul Razak said that police were reviewing the CCTV footage from a nearby petrol station to identify the suspects
